Please understand, generally, we don't support any deployment or
troubleshooting issues under VMware virtual environment. For more

At the same time, if you have interest, you may consider choosing Windows
Server 2008 Hyper-V Technology/Microsoft Hyper-V Server which is
supported to migrate from physical to virtual machines.
