i tried to run the command too, it works (no error) but it didn't solved my problem of services wich do not start (except with domain admin account)
I'am trying to remove E2K7 sp1 and reinstall it but i'am stuck on the last public folder, E2K7 asks me to move the last public folder to an other server before uninstall all roles. but the only public folder which remain are already in my other E2K3 server. so i'am looking a way to force the remove of my last storage group

ok, i read from this link http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997914(EXCHG.80).aspx
that we can launch it after domain prep has already been launched but it's not said that you can launch it after setp has been completed.
What is best reinstall Exchange 2K7 after remove it (i do not have any mail box moved yet) ot try to launch the setup /preparelegacyexchangepermissions ?
WildPacket a écrit :Read on it a bit before you run it.

we ran a full gui setup. So i think shema, domain were done, for the /preparelegacyexchangepermissions, if it was not done by the graphical setup, i don't think it was done.
Can it help to launch it now ?
WildPacket a écrit :Did you extend Schema and run /preparelegacyexchangepermissions before installing X2007?

For the exchnage Servers Security Group in that OU ....what do u see under the members tab?

thks for you time
yes, the OU has been created and the exchange organisations admins were empty and exchange servers only contained the 2K7 server.
I added our admins group there and the 2K3 exchange servers in the server group
my first issue is to start the services without using the domain admin account. any idea ?
WildPacket a écrit :hmmm .. not sure where to start here ..but make sure when I you installed exchange 2007 there was new OU created called MSExchange Security Group and it has the following in there:
Exc Org Admins, Exch PF Admins, Exch Receipient Admins, Exch Servers, Exch View Only Admins, Exch Legacy InterOp.

Hello
I'am having issue in my migration to exchange 2007. I have 3 existing EXC 2003 servers in a same administrative group in a single AD domain. I try to add an ECH 2007 with all the roles except unified messaging in my organisation. Everything ran fine (all indicators were in green). At the end of the installation, most of all exchange services didn't want to start except MSexchangeSA, MSExchangeIS, MSExchangeADTopology. All others refuse to start. They are configured to start with local system account, except for the msexchangetransport wich should start with network service account.
The only way to start them is to make them start with the domain administrator wich is not a godd idea.
Even when they started with administrator account, i have a lot of troubles :
- emails are routed to the EXC2K7 server but are all in the pending files, i have this error 430 4.2.0 STOREDRV; mailbox logon failure
- OWA refuse to work correctly, i have service unavailable when i try to connect to https://exc2K7.domain.com/owa and the application msexchangepwaapppool falied each time i try to connect to the web site.
I don't kow if somebody can help to solve alll those troubles but otherwise i wanted to reinstall the exch2K7 but i am afraid to break Exchange 2k3 actual platform ?
In advance Thks for the help
