Re: OWA 2007 and IIS 7.0 with SSL key

You're right. I found the way to generate the CSR. Next step, I'll import the
certificate after I receive it from the vendor.
So, I have two steps to go,
1. Impoet-Exchangecertificate -Path c:\certificate.cer
2. Enable-ExchangeCertificate -services SMTP
Am I right? anything missing?

Thanks,
Roger

Hello,

In Exchange 2007 the OWA settings are mostly configured using the Exchange
Management Tools (Management Console or Management Shell), not IIS. The same
goes with certificate management (which is done using CMDlets in Management
Shell, New-ExchangeCertificate, Import-ExchangeCertificate,
Enable-Exchangecertificate). For more information refer to Exchange Help

Hi All,
I have an OWA 2007 configuration question.
I'm working on a transition from Exchange 2K to Exchange 2007 (on Server
2008). Current period is Exchange 2007 co-exists with Exchange 2K. The
Internet mail is still going to Exchang 2K SMTP connector.
I want to configure OWA on Exchange 2007 first then switch Internet mail
from Exchange 2K to Exchange 2007. I looked at IIS 7.0 and can't find
"Properties" after right click the "Defult Web Site"
Second, where can I find the path in Exchange 2007 server to put a SSL
certificate which I'll order from a vendor like networksolutions.com

Thanks!

Roger
