ActiveSync Standard Setup with only 1 FE Exchange 2003 Server

I am having a hard time getting my Windows Mobile Phone (Motorola Q) to sync
with Exchange 2003 SP2 running on Windows Server 2003 SP2. I have set up
dozens of small business servers without a problem, but the IIS directories
look a bit different. Is there a best practices guide available for how to
implement this on Exchange 2003?
I have a certificate installed from GoDaddy, Port 443 open (Can browse to
OWA externally), and have checked the Exchange, OMA, Activesync virtual
directories settings and compared the settings to one of our SBS 2003 Servers
that can sync without a problem. The settings match, but still can't sync.
Do I need the Exchange-OMA Virtual Directory?
I thought I finally stumbled upon the answer with this article, but it still
doesn't work.

Created a directory, checked settings, still no luck.
I get an error on my device saying that there is an internal server error.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
