Re: Exchange 2007 Edge Transport Server

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Edge Transport is an optional role. You can have a single server with Hub Transport, Client Access and Mailbox roles installed, and the Hub role can be used for Internet email. See http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998891(EXCHG.80).aspx.

We are a small office that has an existing exchange server 2003 server. For Exchange 2007, do you have to have 2 servers? One for Edge transport on the DMZ and one on the inside? Or can you just put everything on one server on the Inside like Exchange 2003?
