- Send Connector for address space * - is it set to forward to the right smarthost IP address/fqdn?
- Are the authentication settings correct? (if the server needs to authenticate with the smarthost)
- Can the server resolve the fqdn of the smarthost (if fqdn is used in Connector settings)
- Does the server have SMTP connectivity to smarthost (telnet on smtp port)?
- Is the Send Connector enabled?
- Anything in the SMTP protocol logs?
- Anything in Application event log?

I have one Ex2003 Server and just installed an Ex2007 with hub/mail/client
role. We currently forward all of our mail to a dmz machine with MailMarshall
(antivirus, spam, etc). Test mailboxes on the Ex07 can receive mail fine, but
cannot send. I can see them in the queue viewer but aren't being delivered.
After several hours, the mailbox receives a "delivery delayed" message.
Where should I look to fix this?
Thanks for your help.
