Thanks Lee
Could you let me know how to do this; I think I have done the correct thing
but nothing changed. I reverted, so could you let me know step my step?
NB: the directory shown in the properties begins \\.\BackOffice........
Cheers,
Julian

Hello
On a new Exchange server (which works and send/receives emails, etc.) OWA
doesn't work at all. The server is W2K3 Standard and Exchange 2003
Standard
Internally and directly on the server, going to http://servername/exchange
gives a page not found error (obviously the external issue is the same).
I have looked in the IIS manager console and it is all blank under:
WebSites\DefaultWebSite\Exchange
WebSites\DefaultWebSite\Exadmin
Under:
WebSites\DefaultWebSite\ExchWeb there are listings...
bin, 6.5.6944.0, 6.5.7638.1, 6.5.7651.60, controls, help, img, themes,
views
Under ExchangeApplicationPool, there are the following listings
Default Application - <Default Web Site>/ExchWeb/bin
Default Application - <Default Web Site>/Exadmin
Default Application - <Default Web Site>/Exchange
Default Application - <Default Web Site>/ExchWeb
Default Application - <Default Web Site>/Public
If it helps GFI and Symantec Mail Security are also installed on the same
server.
Thanks in anticipation!
Julian
It is correct that you see nothing under the Exhange VDir in IIS Manager.
The output is produced by an ISAPI extension. Do you have Forms-based
Authentication enabled? If so, is Active Server Pages set to Allowed in the
Web Service Extensions container in IIS Manager? If not, then this produces
a confusing 404 - Not Found error.
Lee.
