You didn't answer this question:
Are they answering mail sent from the new server, or mail sent before you
installed your new server?

I recentlly installed an Exchage 2003 with Service Pack 2 server on a
child
domain. The server is in a different Routing Group. I created the RUS
for
my
domain, the routing group connector and ran all test to verify that te
necesary connectivity exist in order for it to function.
The server can send e-mails to any user in my domain or other child
domains
and the parent domain. When ever they want to answer my e-mails they
get a
system administrator response saying that the user does not exist.
When they answer mail sent from the new server, or mail sent before you
installed your new server? Please post the full non-delivery response.

When I checked the Global Address List I found the user, but the users
on
the other domain can´t see it on their address list.
If they're running Outlook 2003 or later with cached mode, then they may
be
looking at an out-of-date GAL.
Five things have to happen--and in this order--before recipients show up
in
the GAL in Outlook 2003 with cached mode, i.e., the Offline Address Book:
1. The object or change must replicate to the domain controller the RUS
uses.
2. The RUS must run and stamp the object with Exchange attributes.
3. The offline address book must be generated. This is a scheduled
activity.
4. The OAB system public folder must replicate to the public folder
server
the user's Outlook is using.
5. Outlook 2003 must synchronize itself with the offline address book.
This
is directed by Outlook.
I checked the Event viewer and didn´t find any errors or warnings, then
I
ran the EBPA and I got an error The Public Folder Doesn't have and
address" acording to the information in the article this could be the
cause
of my problem.
I thought we were talking about mailboxes. If so, this wouldn't be the
problem, but I'm not saying that it's not a different problem.
The mailbox is created so I guess that´s not the problem.
The error I get on the EBPA is the following: "Public folder store 'Public
Folder Store (PANCAPSRVMAIL01)' on server PANCAPSRVMAIL01 does not have a
mail address. Hierarchy replication will be broken until this problem is
corrected."
But after checking the information with the Adsiedit, the RUS
has replicated the necesary information for the Global Address.
What information is that, and where are you checking?
Following this link provided by the EBPA
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/b4e63be9-70fc-4820-903d-9978ad72b6a1.aspx
I checked the RUS configuration, everything was ok. In te same article I
found this link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=3052&kbid=246127
and
using Adsiedit I found the attribute showInAddressBook. When I tryed to
Verify that the uSNChanged value is greater than the
msExchServer1HighestUSN
value I was able to find the uSNChanged but the msExchServer1HighestUSN I
couldn't find it.
So far it seems to be that the information is not replicating to the DC in
the parent domain.
Does anyone has an idea of what could be happening?
