Can you telnet to your public IP address on port 25 from off of your network and get an SMTP banner from the Exchange server?
As John Oliver said, you shouldn't multihome your Exchange server. Replace your failed router as soon as you can.

Hey
Had a working setup like this
Internet (80.62.xx.xx) => Router (NAT) => Exchange Server
(192.168.1.12)
This worked fine. But then my firewall/router was fried in a thunder
storm :(
Ok. I then added another Network card to the Exchange and enabled
DHCP, DNS and NAT so my setup now is:
Internet => Exchange Server (WAN NIC 1- 80.62.xx.xx) & (LAN NIC 2 -
192.168.1.12).
Now the client goes thorugh the Exchange server 2003 which is now also
a router. This works. But now i cannot receive mails anymore. I know
may a-record/mx records are correct since they worked before I changed
my internal setup. My SMTP is working fine (i can send mails).
The Exhange server Queue is completly empy. The funny thing is that
when i send mails to the server i never get a error mail back. (I can
send mails internal in the exchange server).
I have no idea how to "troubleshoot" this issue. Any ideas?
