Re: Outlook not connecting to Replicated Exchange 2007 Public Fold

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hello Steve,

Thank you for posting here.

According to your description, I understand that you migrate your Exchange
2000 to 2007, however, the Outlook Connection Status shows public folders
are still using the Exchange 2000 server. If I have misunderstood the
problem, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Based on my research, I suggest we try the following steps to see if we can
resolve this issue:

1. Please try to logon the user account on another client computer, then
configure the Outlook to connect Exchange 2007. Do you get same issue?

2. Please ensure your migration steps are correct, for the detailed
migration steps, refer to the folllowing link:

How to Transition from Single Forest to Single Forest
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997617.aspx

If we cannot resolve the issue after we perform the above steps, please
kindly help me collect some information for further investigation:

1. Does this issue happen on all clients?

2. What's edition of your Outlook?

3. Can you open the public folders in Outlook?

Hope these steps will give you some help.

Thanks and have a nice weekend!

Best regards,

Terence Liu(MSFT)
