If the red mark is because expired date, renew it. Otherwise, you may use it. You could create a new one if you want.

I am trying to create new certificate for Exchange 2007 OWA. When I go to
server certificate in IIS, it gives me only two options, either to "renew" or
"remove". I can see their is already one certifcate issued by and to
"exchange servername" valid for an year with redX mark on certifciate
information. Certification path is "exchange" with redX mark on it.
What do I have to do to create new certificate, remove and create new one or
renew it. If I remove this existing certificate, am I going to have any
issues with email operation? Thanks.
