The service is not needed in Exchange 2007.

Bummer - those are working fine. The status tells me the Exchange 2000 server
is unreachable due to WMI errors, but that is only in the status field. Maybe
I'll try to rebuild the connector and see what happens. I'm pretty close to
destroying and rebuilding from scratch and see what happens.
