To install Exchange on DC is not recommended, as

I recall there is an article said something wrong when you tried to remove Exchange server, you may have to re-install DC. My suggestion is to depromo the DC first and then try to remove Exchange server. It seems someone did it sucessfully before.

I have an Exchange 2003 Server running on a Windows 2003 domain controller.
I installed Exchange on a member server and migrated all of the mailboxes off

there issues with doing it this way when it's the only combo DC/Exchange
server in your organization (eg. I have other DC's, and other Exchange
servers, but no other Exchange servers with the dual role of a DC)?

Is there anything else I can do?
