If all mail flows through a front-end server and you set the time-out
periods to say 24 hours, if a back-end server for which a message was
destined was offline, would that message sit in the queue of the front-end
server for that period waiting for the BE to back online opposed to sending
an NDR back to the original sender? I would like to have my front-end hold
emails for atleast 24 hours before sending an ndr to the original sender in
the case a backend server was offline for more than a couple hours.
