Exchange 2003 setup ADC setup problem id no c00708ad user name could not be found.
I am trying to install Exchange 2003 on a brand new Windows 2003
server. I went thru all of the pre installtion steps and everything
went well and all of the tests passed. I then started the installation
and was told I needed to upgrade the Active Direcory Connector and a
few machines. When I tried though I received the message user name
could not be found win32 id c00708ad. I found suggestions on this site
that said to create a new acount and grant that account exchange
services and domain admin rights, I did that. I still received the
smae error when I try the installation though. I have not found any
other people that had a problem once they changed the account used for
the service. I was hoping someone could point me in the right
direction. Thanks alot.
