Exchange 2003 Standard or Enterprise is not supported on 64 bit Editions of
Windows Server 2003 as stated in the System Requirements under NOTE.
http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/evaluation/sysreqs/2003.mspx
FYI: Exchange 2007 will ONLY run on 64 bit Edition of Windows Server 2003
or any version of Longhorn.

I have a new Windows 2003 R2 Standard x64 Edition Server along with
Exchange
2003 Server Standard. Is the Exchange software compatible with the 2003
R2
x64 server environment?
I have tried to install the Exchange software but have run into errors. I
found an online chart of Exchange requirements but it was not clear
regarding
the 64 bit environment.
Thank you.
