RE: Microsoft Exchange Domain Preparation failed

I have picked up the latest copy of the Exchange Deployment Tools (ExDeploy)
from the MS Exchange website and ran the following command to check my forest
and domain preparation status: exdeploy.exe /t:orgprepcheck

ExDeploy found the following error for me;

Calling PolCheck...
Error: PolCheck found a problem with permissions given to Exchange Server
2003 computers in your Active Directory.

This error seems easy enough to sort:

Warning: The Exchange Domain Servers group 'cn=Exchange Domain
Servers,cn=Users,DC=gcinternal,DC=com' does not contain the local computer

but having sorted it, I can't seem to understand why I'm receiving this one:

LookupAccountName returned error 1332
Abnormal exit from PolicyTest
[21:22:08] Entering HrFindPrintErrorMessage
[21:22:08] Warning: Possible error string 'Abnormal exit from
PolicyTest' detected in policytest output.
[21:22:08] Leaving HrFindPrintErrorMessage
[21:22:08] HrRunPolCheck
(f:\df7408\dsa\src\deploy\dsintegchk\netdiag.cpp:595). Error code
0X80040001(1).

Is there an account that I'll need to change the permissions on or
similar?

I hope someone out there can help me with this.
I am having problems installing a new Exchange 2003 server as an additional
server along side my currently setup Exchange 2000 server.

I am getting a very distinct error during the DomainPrep stage and as far as
I can find there is no documentation regarding it. The error reads as follows:

Setup failed while installing sub-component Domain-level permissions with
error code 0xC00708B0 (please consult the installation logs for a detailed
description.) You may cancel the installation or try the failed step again.

In the Event Log the errors reads:

Exchange Server component Microsoft Exchange Domain Preparation failed.
Error: 0xc00708b0 - The account already exists.

EventType exchangesetuperror, P1 6_5_6944_0, P2 domainprep, P3 microsoft
exchange domain preparation, P4 install, P5 c00708b0, P6 domain-level
permissions, P7 1, P8 NIL, P9 NIL, P10 NIL.

And the installation log file details it as:

I'm concerned that the setup warns me about known compatibility issues
before the setup process will continue
[http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=37488] but I can only assume that
this means for me to update to SP1 or SP2 as soon as possible after my
install completes and I have my doubts as to if this is a symptom of this
problem.

Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Many Thanks.
