It is configured in virtual smtp server as abcdc2.abc.com which is the
exchange server itself
I have also configured it in the smtp connector, i have the smart host
as abcdc2.abc.com
I am not sure if that answers your question or not....

I have configured forwarders for DNS
In virtual SMTP server I have configured forwarders for DNS and the
smtp connector is configured there as abcdc2.abc.com
The SMTP connector is configured to 'forward all mail through this
connector to the following smart hosts abcdc2.abc.com
I am also running ISA server as a firewall, with the SMTP server
published and SMTP traffic allowed
nslookup says Non-existent domain
I am really hoping someone can help me out here
Doesn't sound like a DNS problem right now. Check where all the mail
is going, you have a smarthost listed in the Exchange server sending
to somewhere. Where is that somewhere sending the mail?
