NNTP threading limitation?

I have set an NNTP newsgroup at my Exchange Server.

After some days of work, one of the participants of the group made us notice
that no matter which NNTP client we used, the server was threading only up
to the 7th level (or 8th, depending if you count from first message). All
answers in the thread after that level are placed one under the other.

Since then I have been searching all around to find where I set-up that
limitation, in order to remove it, and I just can't find it.

Has anyone got a clue?
