Aloha James,
From your Exchange server can you telnet on port 25 to the mail server ofany of the messages sitting in the queue? Make sure and connect by name to ensure your name resolution is working properly.

Dear Alaa,
Ok, I am dreaming, the issue is NOT resolved.
If you or anyone has a clue I am desperate. Outbound mail is still
sitting in the queue waiting to be delivered. I have diagnostic
logging on maximum:
MS Exchange Transport -
Routing Engine/Service
Connection Manager
Queueing Engine
SMTP Protocol
Authentication
I am not seeing any errors except for undeliverable emails, and of the
undeliveralbe emails that I have reviewed clearly the emails are bad
(spam).
When I stop and start the "Default SMTP Virtual Server" the
deliverable queues clear.
I have tried to find a tech with enough knowledge to help, without
success.
This issue is really causing problems, I could use some help...
Alaa, I don't think I understand your comments about the DNS
forwarding. Can you say it differently?
Thank you,
James

Dear James,
it seams that you did a lot of changes troubleshooting on your
exchange server, and this is good to hear that you solved your
problem.
one small hint, in your post and your reply, what i understood from
you is that your internal DNS can resolve external sites and domains
which means it is having the Farwarder Option enabled on it, even
though still the problem wasn't solved , right ? and in your last
post you said that you returned back the forwarder to external DNS
server back and it seams it is working fine.
so you confised me here.
anyway, it is good to know that the problem solved by your side, this
is part of your training :)
please let me know if you need more help.
P.S: I can't live without KFS :):) this picture was taken at 4:00 AM
in the morning inside one of the customer's server room, while i was
doing a Migration from NT4.0 /Exch5.5 Clsuter/Proxy2 to
Wind2K3/Exch2K3 Cluster/ and ISA2K4, so you can imagine the situation
there :):)
