Re: Exchange 2003 Server installation errors

Surely there is a less drastic option. I know format and start over is great
on home computers, but when this machine is in a main production where 150+
users connect this server daily. It is rather complicated to Format this
machine.

I would wipe / Install Windows server on the computer in question - then it

I have attempted to research this issue for the past 2 weeks and have been
unable to retrieve any information. I have a 5.5 server currently on a
Win2K
machine. I attempted to install exchange server 2003 on a Win2K3 machine.
Although I had a few errors to start with I researched and followed
Microsoft's technet to correct the issues. Once I got Exchange 2003 server
installed, the user's of the 5.5 server were unable to connect to the 5.5
server. ( It did not copy over any mailboxes or anything from the 5.5
server
to the 2003 server ) So, I immediately un-installed Exchange 2003. Now
