The problem you have is that you don't have the rights, signatures, etc to
access the data at this point. That's all in the old AD. So in essence,
you need to build new (no way to salvage the old), extract the data from
the Exchange backup files (powercontrols can help there), shove it back
into the new db's in the appropriate mailboxes (hopefully) and remember to
get better backup/restore processes for your Exchange(and AD) environment
in the future. If it's worth getting the data back, it would be worth
having that process nailed down for the future IMHO.

I think he meant install a new Exchange server in your new domain and
then use PowerControls to extract data from your saved edb files and
import it into your new Exchange server.
