Forgot to mention.... Any links to documentation on implementing SSL? I'll
be googling, but any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Also, any
adjustments needed if the Lockdown Tool is implemented (like what is needed
to be able to run WSUS)?

Hank, what OS will you be installing this on? Windows 2000 or NT4?
Honestly, the best practices are pretty much the same as they would be for
any website. Patch the heck out of the server and use SSL for access.
You can also use IISLockdown tool as well. Just be sure when setting it
up, you select the option for OWA / Exchange.

I will be setting up a new Exchange 5.5 server to replace our current
hardware. Please don't go on about how I need to upgrade to 2003. I
support a non-profit that is having significant financial problems. We
have to replace the hardware regardless of whether we upgrade Exchange or
not. The will not spend the money to buy licenses for 150+ mailbox
licenses, even if we get a great deal. It took a lot of convincing them
that the current hardware was likely to fail in the near term. I'm hoping
I can justify an upgrade next year.
I want to set up the new server with OWA. Can you point me to
documentation on the "best practices" for securing IIS and OWA?
