Hi everyone,
I have a working Exchange Server 2003 for over a year now. Everything on
this server work fine except that it is installed on a hotswappable hardware
RAID-5 disk configuration. We want to reinstall it on a different server
perhaps with hotswappable hardware RAID-1 configuration.
Does anyone know of the best disk configuration for Exchange Server 2003 to
run on? And also a good howto of how to reinstall Exchange Server 2003 onto
another new server? I do intend to leave the new Exchange Server online until
the new one works then bring it offline afterward.
Thank you very much in advance..

is going to be of help to you to swing to a new server.
I have no knowledge of your server so I'll talk in basic terms.
As for that new server you should be be looking at at least three
RIAD1 pairs OS on one, Exchange Binaries and logs on the other and the
stores on the last.
Clearly we need to learn some more about your proposed end solution to
give decent advice on what kit you plan to settle on.
