- Are you sure it assigns an SCL or is it Outlook's junk mail filtering at
work?
- Two ways of checking whether IMF is actually checking messages or acting
on them is to:
1. Use the IMF perfmon counters
Object: MSExchange Intelligent Message Filter
Counters:
- Total Messages Scanned for UCE and Messages Scanned for UCE/second
- check the other counters as well if you want
2. Display the SCL in Outlook or OWA:
Outlook.

or in OWA

Okay, I have SMTP setup correctly, and I have all filters turned on on the
SMTP virtual server, and the Message Delivery set to block on 1 and store
on
1.
I have it set to "Archive".
BUT, the only thing that happens is that it puts the mail in my "Junk"
folder. So, it is obviously assigning an SCL and something is correctly
putting it in the "Junk" folder.
What I can't understand IS why it does not "Archive" the mail.

Hell, you're filtering 4/5?
That's damn severe and tells me that your GFI isn't working properly
either if you're getting 4/5 into your inbox.
Obvious one is to do a stop/start on the SMTP VSI to make sure the
changes are kicked in.
