How was the migration handled? Is there a trust with the NT4 domain and did
you migrate with sidHistory?
How are the primary windows NT accounts listed on the mailboxes? As the new
domain or the old domain?

1016 errors also get logged when people access folders that aren't owned by
them such as opening another person's calendar. Is it possible this is what
you're seeing?
