Postfix/IMAP to Exchange migration advice needed

Hi,
I'm migrating a group from BSD running Postfix & Courier IMAP to
Exchange 2003.
I'd like to setup the environmant so that both servers run
concurrently, and move users from one to the other gradually -- this
way I'll be able to move myself first and verify proper operation
before moving everyone else.
Can anyone suggest a [popular] procedure that would involve, for
example:
1. Build the Exchange server; (done)
2. Setup mail routing between relay, Exchange, and IMAP -- e.g.:
- on relay, default for "mycompany.com" goes to Postfix on IMAP,
- on IMAP, migrated users get forwarded to Exchange via main.cf,
- on Exchange, not-yet-migrated users have alias to IMAP,
- outgoing from Exchange goes to relay.
3. Move, say one user (me) to the Exchange server -- this would
allow me to carefully test; and when satisfied, move each user one at
a time rather than risking a flag day that doesn't work and has to be
reverted and re-evaluated;
4. Test, test, test;
5. Move remaining users, one at a time;
6. Point relay from old Postfix server to new Exchange server.
Does that sound reasonable? Specifics on Postfix main.cf juggling
would also be helpful.
Thanks!
