ADC Install Question

I have 1 2003 AD forest with parent domain & child domain. 1 DC in each, DNS
on the parent for the entire forest, DHCP on the child. My goal is to
install exchange 2003 in the child container. I have begun the ADC install
in the parent container completing steps 1-3 with step 4 (connection
agreements) not done.

My questions are as follows: is it ok to install the ADC in the parent or
should it be done on the child? If the latter, what are the ramifications of
my having extended the schema already?

Should I create user accounts for my public folders before creating the
connection agreements or is it okay to solve that issue afterwards?

3. What is the effect on my Exchange 5.5 users once I create the user
accounts for the public folders, i.e., Conference Rooms, etc.

Thank you in advance for your help.
