Warning messages during installation

I'm new to Exchange 2003. I'm trying to install the Standard edition to a
VPC Windows Server 2003 SP1 test session.

As I go through the Exchange Server Deployment Tools checklist and get to
step 6 ("Run ForestPrep..."), I get the following warning: "Exchange Server
2003 has a known compatibility issue with this version of Windows. For more
information, refer to http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=37488,"; The
link takes me to the System Requirements for Exchange Server 2003 page. I
get the same warning when I get to step 7 ("Run DomainPrep...") and step 8
("Run [Exchange] Setup"). I pressed Continue on all three warning dialogs
and proceeded with the install.

Is this typical for this scenario?
