Migrating from Exchnage 5.5 to Exchange 2003

My company is migrating from 5.5 to 2003 next month. We currently running
server 2003 for our workstation in "native mode" Based on th einformtion I've
read the system should be in "mixed mode" will this cause me any problems
when I start my migrations. Thanks for you help in advanced.
