Exchange Setup Stops - "Setup cannot continue because ...."

Hello everybody,

I hope somebody can spot some light on this.

I want to install and join the first Exchange 2003 Server (Server A) to an
Exchange 5.5 Organisation (Server B).

Server A
Windows 2003 SP1
ADC (Exchange 2003) with CA's between Server A and Server B
ADC-Tools is finished successful - all 4 Steps without any error
Server-Account is Member of the Exchange Domain-Servers

Server B
Exchange 5.5 Sp4 - Mailbox Server
NT 4 SP6a

I used the Deployment-Tool on Server A and ran through every single step
till I got to the Exchange2003 installation.
Setup asked me whether I want to join an Exchange 5.5 Org and on the next
screen I enter the Exchang e5.5 Servername. Afterwards the Setup stops with
following message


Setup cannot continue because one or more of the following conditions was
detected:

- Error: ADC-Tools wasn't executed in your organisation

(don't know the exact message since this error-message is in german - a bit
weird since I use only englich versions)

While I was running the setup, I was logged on with the Exchange Full
Admin-Account, which is member on the Domain-Admins and Local Admins on the
Windows 2003 member server.

I launched ADC-Tools a couple of times, but nothing changed. Everytime I got
this error. I have no clue anymore.
