Migrate from NT4/Exch5.5 to W2k3/E2k3

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I've read many articles about migration and what to do first and how to build
a NT4 domain controller promote to PDC and upgrade to 2k3, and then install
e2k3 and use ADC, then install to join existing exchange 5.5 site and move
mailboxes, pub folders, etc, but they contradict each other and I've been
searching through many newsgroups on the methods. To make things worst, my
client only has 1 PDC running Exchange 5.5, but about 3 other W2K and W2k3
servers in an NT4 domain. So if I build new PDC and switch off old PC, then
when I power it up to join the exchange site, won't I have issues?

Need to retain domain name.
My Theory:
1) Setup temp machine with NT4. promote to PDC.
2) Create another temp machine and build as NT4 BDC and take offline.
3) Upgrade NT4 PDC to W2k3.
4) Check Active Directory.
5) Setup new Server hardware with W2k3 and change FSMO roles to this new
server.
6) Switch off server which was upgraded.
7) Run forestprep and domainprep
8) Install ADC and make sure working between 5.5 and w2k3.
9) Install E2k3 and join existing 5.5 site.
10) Move mailboxes to new site.
11) Remove ADC
12) Decomission old NT4 with Exchange 5.5 server.

What little issues do I need to look out for.
