OK - I wasn't clear on where POP may've fit in because you mentioned
"download" and "Outlook". The POP connector may well be the problem here.

If you don't have external POP users, close 110.
For OWA, use SSL/443 instead of 80.

Telnet to your current public IP on port 25 from somewhere outside your LAN
to make sure you can see your Exchange server's banner in reply (to make
sure your ISP isn't blocking port 25, your firewall/router is allowing the
right traffic through, your virtual smtp server is started, etc).
Download one of the update clients (I like DirectUpdate) from dyndns.org,
install it, and configure it with your account name & credentials. It will
update your dyndns.org account with the correct public IP.
Have whomever hosts your public DNS set your primary MX to the dyndns
hostname/FQDN you created. (you've done this already, according to
www.dnsreport.com). Remove the other MX records if they point to your old
ISP POP mailbox server. Get a MailHop BackupMX account from dyndns.org if
you want backup (I think it's worth the minimal annual cost).
