Hello all,

I am getting my first look at Exchange 2003 Enterprise. I have 2 Win 2003
Servers Enterprise Edition. The two servers are members of the same domain.
The second server has just been installed and it has AD on it, but a member
of the original domain. The second Server is supposed to host the Exchange.

First server points to itself for DNS and the second Server points to the
first server as the prefered DNS and itself as the secondary DNS. Should the
first one point to the second one for DNS as well and if so in what order?

I am going through the install process and when I got to ForestPrep, it
showed that the disk informatiom requested is 42MB. However, in my haste
during the OS installation, I had enabled and installed POP3 and SMTP.
Somehow ForestPrep encountered an error during the initial install, and when
I tried to reinstall it, the disk requirement is now 12MB, and I still get
error message.

I have been trying to Remove the Exchange from Control Panel, and instead of
removing, it keeps trying to finish the installation and telling me there was
an error in ForestPrep and that I should run it with the /ForestPrep switch.

Can someone please help me out of this jam. I am trying to remove the
Exchange and start over. The one in the system that I know was not installed
past the ForestPrep shows 18.77MB in Add/Remove. But I cannot seem to get rid
of it.

I am using my name and I have all the rights necessary to install the Server.

Thanks to all
