Not sure if this will apply to you, but it doesn't sound like it could hurt.
Are your 5.5 servers at sp4? I would point also out that hotfixes are free
calls. When you get on the phone, you simply need to indicate that you are
calling for a Hotfix. I've never had them even ask for a CC#.
