In an effort to mitigate the risk with the loss of support of NT4.0 server,
our client is considering upgrading the OS to Windows 2000 and maintaining
the Exchange 5.5 environment on that OS until their migration to Exchange
2003 is completed in Q2, 2005.

All current Exchange 5.5 servers run on BDCs in the Exchange resource domain.

We’re hoping someone out there has run into this scenario and can help us
judge the feasibility of this upgrade scenario and what pain and/or ‘gotchas’
experienced. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
