Since you are going to go to Exchange 2003 shortly you do need the
ADC. This is so that your Active Directory accounts can be associated
with a mailbox on the 5.5 server and for any address type information
to be copied into Exchange.
Only if you were not planning on going to Exchange 2003 would you
leave the ADC out.
