I have a problem on my hands here...

I have a mixed mode domain (still have remote NT BDCs) I installed the 2003
ADC, replicated, joined the new Exchange 2003 server into my 5.5 site, moved
all mailboxes, replicated public and system folders using pfmigrate. All is
good but now anyone who previously had group permissions from the GAL in 5.5
(public folders) can't access them.

For example:

Old 5.5 public folder was "testpf"

User groups allowed to access:

"testpfgroup" - Editor
"testadmins" - Editor

But... if I remove those and add the individual users as editors then it
works and they can all access this. I think it has something to do with a
mixed mode domain (something about converting from the GAL to USG's which of
course don't exist in a mixed mode domain...

I thought I remember seeing an article about this previously but I may be
wrong. Does Exchange 2003 SP1 fix this? Can anyone point me in the right
direction??
