3 WIN2K3 DC's running in interim mode with NT 4.0.
I am in the process of installing EX2K3 on one of the
DC's. Forestprep, DomainPrerp and OrgprepCgheck all run
without error.
When going through the ADC and after running the
Connection Agreement Wizard I noticed that there are now
accounts created under User Manager in NT that relate to
mailboxes that I do not need accounts for. They were
resource mailboxes setup for users to use. In other words:
Some users here have other mailboxes that they use and
have access to in Outlook for receiving mail from
different addresses. Is it normal for the Connection
Agreement to create accounts for those mailboxes in AD as
well as User Manager under NT? The accounts are stamped
with "Disabled Windows User Account". I also noticed many
LADP errors with event id's of 8022,8270 and 8183 - after
giving the Exchange Enterprise Admin group access at the
Org level in Exchange Admin, they seem to have gone away.
Just want to know if this is normal. I have not installed
Exchange yet. Will the install of Exchange still work if
my domain is running in interim mode?
Thanks,
Bill
