    The problem has now taken a new turn.
    After adding the host file I was able to ping the server by name.
    When I did check name for mailbox it went fine.
    but I try to open outlook 2000 it asks me username password and domain.
    I put the same credentilas that I put when I access the exchange 2003 via OWA.
    But this it does accept the credentials.
    Any clue?
