We have built a forest, the tree root is called "ROOT", a chird domain is
set up under the "ROOT" called "Chird". We deployed our Exchange server
"O=EX" and run ForestPrep Run at "ROOT", run Domain Pre at "Child".
Exchange servers are joined to "Child". This set up is working okay.

Recently, we installed a new tree root "Root 2"and joined to our exitsing
forest and transitive trust has been set up. We installed an exchange 2000
in this "ROOT 2" domain ( run Domainprep in "ROOT 2") and joined to our
Exchange organisation "EX". We found out that the "Root 2" Exchange 2000
public folder shown as a separate public folder tree. Public folders can
not replicated between "Chird" Exchange 2000 and "ROOT2" Exchange 2000. But
all Exchange users can be shown on GAL.

How can Exchange users on "ROOT2" access the public folders stored on
"Child" Exchange server?

ROOT DC= Windows 2000 SP4
Chird DC = Windows 2000 Sp4
Child Exchange = Windows 2000 SP4, Exchange 2000 SP3
ROOT2 DC= Windows 2000 Sp4
ROOT2 Exchange server = Windows 2000 SP4, Exchange 2000 SP3 (+post SP3 roll
up patch)
