To create mailboxes open Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC) on The
Exchange 2003 Server. This will cause some changes to the ADUC interface
that you normally see on windows Server. You should be able to Right Click
objects and do "Exchange Tasks" such as creating mailboxes., when you create
the mailbox it will ask you on which server you want the mailbox to be
placed.

You can then Log on to the Mailbox via either outlook or other client.
Outlook Web Access should be avialable within 15-20 minutes (just go to
http://>/exchange and enter the mailbox credentials. This
should allow you access to the mailbox.
You'll need two mailboxes on the server to send and recieve email. To send
email to other mailboxes you'll need to create a transport connector most
likely an SMTP connector. If you Open Exchange System Manager on the
Exchange server at the top you'll see the ORganization Object, right click
this and select Internet Mail Wizard, it will help you setup your SMTP
connector.
