You should determine which Domain Controller is the schema master and make
sure it is still avialable on the network. In some cases the schema master
is actually some old server that was improperly removed from the environment
and all the data was not transferred correctly. Did you ever remove a DC
from the environment without doing a DCpromo?

Schema"
