This post may be in a wrong group.

We need to decide weather to change ISP or the email
program.

Please help decide if the vendor is correct on the issue.

Thanks

Hello,

this problem is being caused by two things.

1) the fact that you are using a POP3 mailbox at your
service provider to
collect
email messages for later distribution. The POP3 mailbox
was never designed
to do this. It will cause problems for messages that are
BCC or send from
mailing lists as the POP3 mailbox can not handle these
messages correctly.

The best solution is to change to use an SMTP store and
forward type of
account.
Also called an SMTP gateway, SMTP relay or SMTP dialup
account. This does
not have these problems. Please talk to your ISP to find
out if they offer
these
types of accounts......

2) The version of the mail server you are using is too old
to understand the
new formats and changes made to emails and attachments
over the last
4 years. This is what causes some messages with
attachments to have
problems. The only way to fix this is to upgrade your
version of the mail
server.

You can purchase an upgrade license to the latest version
of the mail server
for a discount by going to
http://www.tnsoft.com/Upgrade_purchase.htm
