I Have a Windows 2000 Advance Server with Exchange 2000 on it that needs to
be replaced. I am replacing this Server with a Windows 2003 Server with
Exchange 2003. My Question is will the "Move Mailbox Method" work between
Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003. I have seen the KB document 316886 HOW
TO: Migrate from Exchange Server 5.5 to Exchange 2000 Server. But I have
not come across any documentation doing the same between an Exchange 2000
and a Exchange 2003 server. I ask because I don't wish to have to
reconfigure all of my Outlook 2000 clients to the new Exchange Server name
if at all possible. I don't mind leaving the old Server up for awhile so
that my user can hit it and be redirected to the new Server if that will
still work. Any help would be appreciated.
