Hello I am running exchange 20003 on a windows 2000
advanced server, I setup the win2k server as a
certificate authority so that I could run SSL for the
small business without them having to purchase one from a
certificate authority. I run my IIS install on port 8080
and when I enable Form Based Authentication and turn on
the SQL and 128-bit encryption I can't get to the OWA
from a computer on the same intranet, it just acts like
it is trying to connect but never does and it never times
out either.
So I switched my IIS to port 80 to test it out and low
and behold it works perfectly. I do not want to run IIS
on port 80, my OWA works fine on port 8080 except when I
enable SSL is there a way to setup the SSL authentication
to work if IIS is running on port 8080? I used this
document to setup my server as it's own certificate
authority:

html
works great if you are on port 80 :(.
