Can anyone help with Entourage X on a Mac connecting to Exchange??

I'm trying to setup a Mac running OS X (Panther) and Office X with Entourage
X for Mac SR1 (10.1.4 (030702)) to connect to our Exchange 2003 server. All
of our MAPI Windows connections are fine, but the Mac seems to want to use
IMAP4!?

I get an error "An error occurred on the IMAP server. A connection failure
has occurred. Error -3260". This implies to me that perhaps the Mac
doesn't have direct MAPI as an option, but pretends to by using IMAP? Might
be clutching at straws there ...

Either way, it just don't work. I do have IMAP4 enabled on this user's
account. MS have a KB article on it - 824887 .... but it's sweet FA use!!!

Help .. please ..!!?
