Do I understand this correctly...to use the Exchange server 2003 I have to
abandon WINXP? If my understanding is correct, if I want to use this I have
to load the Exchange 2003 Server software which is in effect an operating
system itself and replaces WINXP.

If this is correct and I load it, does this wipe out all of my
content/programs/data on my hard drive?

Basically all I want to do is to share my stupid .pst with the rest of my
computers in my home office of 4 computers. I need the ability to have all
my computers to read/change appointments, calendar, contacts on OL2003 and
it be reflected on all computers. Could Exchange be overkill for this?

BTY, I have WINXP on all 4 computers, Office 2003 on all 4.
