    thank you for your reply.

    As time goes by, i´ve uninstalled Exchange2003 and tried
    to install Exchange2000 but the server and his registry
    seems to be the main problem. So Exchange2000 also won´t
    run after successful setup. So i´ve performed a full
    backup. The mailboxes and the is have been backed up a few
    days ago and after that, no change was made.

    Today, Windows 2003 Server was installed successfully,
    Exchange 2003 was installed successfully too and the
    restore of all data worked fine.
    Now the customer is glad, i feel tired, working 36 hours
    in 3 days.

    For me, the products Exchange 2000/2003 and Windows
    2000/2003 Server were not the reason for that kind of
    trouble. The other tools like Groupshield and so on have
    corrupted registry and so the setup and AD have worked
    fine, but functionality can not be reached.
