Mike, Thanks for the reply. Integrated Windows Authentication is enabled.
There have been no system changes made and it was working fine prior to the
power outage which now has me thinking that it might be possibly a DNS issue.
What do you think? I plan on rebooting our DNS server in the morning to see
if it clears the problem. Let me know if you can think of other possible
causes.
Thanks,
Jim

It sounds like an authentication problem. Is Integrated Windows.
Authentication still enabled for the OWA virtual directory?

We are running a Windows Server 2003 with Exchange 2003. Last night we
had a
power failure. Upon bringing the systems back up, I've noticed that to
log
into OWA mail, you have to provide a full domain login to get access to it
(myname@xxxxxxxxxxxxx). Prior to the power failure, when you clicked on a
link to get to the web mail, it took you right into your webmail. Now, it
prompts people for a login and it will only take them to their email with
a
full domain name. I've stopped and started the exchange services and have
even rebooted the mail server but the problem persists. Am I looking at
an
OWA authentication problem here or am I looking at a DNS issue? Hope
someone
can shed some light on this for me.
Jim
